Spirit of Folk Festival September 2012
Music fans who will be in Ireland in early Autumn might want to visit Co. Meath, where the Spirit of Folk Festival 2012 is being held at Dunderry Park on 21st-23rd September.

The Spirit of Folk Festival is a unique event.
You can see some of the best Folk, Trad and Bluegrass artists from Ireland and the UK.
You can also immerse yourself in Irish heritage by watching historical re-enactments, archery and falconry. There are also some great storytellers to listen to and experimental archaeology to admire.
There is also a ‘healing area’ where you can have a massage, take a workshop, join in a drumming circle, prance around like a pooka or just take the weight off your feet.
There were some fine acts on display last year with a mixture of Folk legends such as Gay Woods and Dr. Strangely Strange, and rising stars, Lisa O’Neill, Rhob Cunningham and The Hot Sprockets.
The Festival organisers are expecting an even bigger event this year so it promises to be a fantastic weekend.
