St Patrick’s Day, Dublin
Irish music .. Irish dancing … Irish wit and humour… but it isn’t just for the Irish.
Dublin is a great place to take a short holiday break which is why it’s invaded by people from all over the world every year for St Patrick’s Day.
The St Patrick’s Festival attracts tourists from the United States and just about every country in Europe, as well as far away places like China, Africa and Australia. For those few days, they’re happy to relax and enjoy their holiday as they become temporarily Irish sampling a little laidback Irish culture and, of course, the craic.
Ireland’s hotels are bursting at the seams
One word of warning if you’re planning a short holiday in Dublin or anywhere in Ireland around St Patrick’s Day. The hotels, youth hostels and bed and breakfast places tend to be bursting at the seams so make sure you book in advance.
Once you’ve done that you can relax and enjoy your holiday - just like these people from all over the world.
Cead Mile Failte to them all.
