He also developed a reputation as a playboy and dated a string of glamorous women including several Miss World winners.

Best developed a drink problem while still playing and this was to plague him for the rest of his life. He died in 2005. Many fans will remember him for his razor sharp wit as well as for his brilliance as a player. These are some of his best known quotes.
