Gaelic music will take centre stage at a special concert being held at the Royal Opera House in London on 31st July.
The concert, called Voices Across the World, celebrates traditional and contemporary music from 12 different cultures.
New York singer Talitha MacKenzie will be representing the Irish/Scottish tradition with a number of Gaelic songs.

Tara O’Grady certainly fits that category.
She mixes traditional Irish melodies with modern jazz rhythms and the result is a sound that’s completely her own and totally irresistible.
There’s a plea going out to musicians from all of Ireland’s 32 counties – come and break records in The Longest Traditional Music Session Ever.
The event is being organised in honour of a very special man and singer called John Norton – and to raise money for the hospice where sadly he died last year at the age of 82.
Moonrakers
The latest performers to appear in our Video Showcase section are the Moonrakers from Oxford in England.
This four-piece band play both traditional tunes and also contemporary songs and melodies in the traditional idiom.
Much of their music is based around the Celtic harp but there are also huge contributions from the fiddle, guitar, bouzouki and bodhran.
