You don’t have to be Irish to feature on our site – you can be from anywhere in the world as long as you perform music that sits well with the great tradition of Irish music.

You can perform traditional music or do all your own material. You can be a solo artist or a band. We don’t mind.

As long as you are good we will be interested.

What’s the benefit of appearing on Irish Music Forever?

Irish Music Forever is one of the world’s fastest growing music websites.

The site is only five months old but already it’s attracting up to 800 visitors a day and that figure is increasing rapidly as more people find out about us. We’re on course to be attracting several thousand visitors a day by the end of the year.

And remember, all these visitors come to us because they are interested in good music.

So how does it work?

All you have to do is send us your video, preferably in a zipped format. We will then upload your video on to our new Irish Music Forever YouTube channel which is currently under development and also show it on our own website – so it gets double exposure.

If you cannot get us a zipped copy of your videos then we could embed or download them from other platforms like YouTube - however we would prefer an original version to upload.

We shall also ask you to write a promotional piece about yourself to accompany the video. This means you can have your own page on Irish Music Forever, giving information and pictures about yourself and showing one or more videos.

Our guarantee to you

We guarantee that we shall use your video as you send it to us and won’t alter it any way without your permission.

We also can assure you that the copyright remains with you and we won’t use it in any other way or on any other platform without your permission.

If you ever want us to stop showing your video then we shall remove it without question or charge.

We do not want to breach copyright laws and so will only show your video if you own all the copyright and other associated legal rights.

If you offer us your video or audio track, then it is your responsibility to ensure that you own all the copyright and other legal rights, and that you indemnify us against any breach of copyright or any other legal breaches.

This should not be a problem if you are performing material you have written yourself, or material which is traditional and out of copyright. However, there may be issues if you perform modern songs by other writers.

You must ensure you have all copyright and legal clearances.

Requirements for your promotional articles

We are happy to publish your promotional article about yourself but it must be original material produced specifically for us.

We don’t publish articles that have appeared elsewhere on the web so you can’t just send us an article from your own site or someone else’s site.

This is better for you anyway. No one wants to read duplicate material they’ve seen elsewhere so keep it fresh and original.
