1961 David Howell Evans was born on 8th August 1961.His stage name is The Edge and he is a member of the Irish rock band U2. He plays electric bass, and acoustic guitar, keyboards, and is a backing vocalist.

With U2, Evans has campaigned for human rights. With Bob Ezrin and Henry Juszkiewicz he co-founded Music Rising, a charity supporting musicians, schools and churches affected by Hurricane Katrina. The charity has replaced some musical instruments from those lost in the hurricane.

1977 Gemma Claire Hayes was born 11th August 1977 in Tipperary, Ireland. She is an Irish singer-songwriter and member of the band The Cake Sale.

She won the Hot Press Awards Best Female Artist in 2001. In 2003, she won the Irish Tatler Woman of the Year Music Award, and in 2006, she won the Best Irish Female Artist at the Meteor Ireland Music Awards .

1972 Michael (Mikey) Graham was on 15th August 1972. He is an Irish singer-songwriter and is famous as a member of pop group Boyzone. He is also an actor in films and in pantomime, and a music producer.  In 2010 he was a contestant on Dancing on Ice.
